Until 2011, Chill Out aired on VH1 European on a nightly basis. The music selections on it had a very similar approach to those on MTV's Chill Out Zone, whereby viewers could expect tons of ambient, trip hop, drum & bass, downtempo and laid-back techno tracks, both classic and recent. In the following years, such music would still be celebrated occasionally through special "Chill Out Weekends" on VH1 Adria (for South-Eastern Europe).
